Here is the details for this months London Home Childcare Support Network meeting for anyone interested.
For those who are not aware the LHCCSN is another long running networking group in the area that has been going for several decades starting out in local providers playroom and then moving into a rented space each month as the membership grew....the group also offers a 'referral' program for parents to connect families and providers together in the area.
It is headed by Joyce Larsh and the group format is a more 'formal' approach to networking with its agenda for the year planned out in advance with a focus on more formal 'professional development' being offered which is why it is a little more formal as it takes time to arrange in house guest speakers presenting workshops to members...they do offer a blend of networking and social events throughout the year as well.
Membership is $25 per year or $3 per session attended ... everyone is welcome to participate in whatever commitment they can... I personally choose to just do the $3 at this point cause with my full plate I cannot quarentee to make it out to more then 8 meetings to make the $25 a better deal!
